Customer satisfaction – the holy grail

It’s always good when innovation and hard work are acknowledged.
 
At Infor HCM we’ve recently been recognized by respected analysts IDC.  Their 2013 talent management MarketScape ran a range of vendors through a tough framework to assess their ability to attract, develop, reward and retain the workforce. We’re honored to be recognized as a leader in our field.

In the report, Lisa Rowan, IDC’s research VP in HR and talent management refers not only to the quality of our systems, our customer service and but also to how clients rank us against competitors.
 
"Infor has strengths in global reach, and clients give it high marks for integration across talent and with core HR. Infor also received high marks for cost competitiveness and customer service from clients."
 
For me this is crucial. Talent management in today’s fast moving business environment can no longer excel in one field alone. At Infor we believe it has to include tight integration between talent, learning, shared services, payroll and workforce management.
 
Lisa also pointed to two important aspects of the Infor HCM fully rounded talent management offering.   The first : HCM can be used on premise or via SaaS. The second : we now offer a complete learning management solution thanks to the recent acquisition of Certpoint Systems.
 
Our take is that learning plays a crucial part of the talent optimization we aim to bring to our clients.  In today’s rapidly changing economy recruiting, retaining and rewarding your employees is only part of the talent challenge. The other key part is to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to do their jobs well.

And that demands a sophisticated approach to learning, one that involves face to face and e-learning courses and actually goes beyond that to include resources, stretch assignments, expert mentoring and more. We believe that embedding these learning opportunities into the employee’s daily work is fundamental to successful talent development.
 
While we’re greatly honored by IDC recognition, this is a stage on a journey, not the final destination. We’ll continue to innovate and focus on customers so we can always be considered a leader in the talent field.
